Jabiru J230-D
Garmin G3X Touch. Two-axis autopilot. Synthetic vision. ADS-B In/Out.
The J230-D is the factory glass-panel version of the J230 airframe, fitted with the Jabiru 3300 Generation 4 engine. Same composite fuselage, same 120-knot cruise on 5 GPH — but with the avionics suite of an aircraft costing five times more.
Jabiru's "D" designation marks the factory-installed digital avionics package. A standard J230 ships with steam gauges or a single GRT. The J230-D ships with Garmin G3X Touch as the primary flight display, integrated engine monitoring, autopilot servos, and ADS-B compliance built in from delivery.
10-inch primary display with split-screen capability. Synthetic vision overlays terrain, traffic, and weather on a 3D forward view.
Roll and pitch coupled to the G3X. Hand-flying isn't required for the long legs.
Free FIS-B weather and TIS-B traffic in the cockpit. Compliant with FAA airspace rules without any 2030 upgrade looming.
Six-cylinder direct-drive 120 HP engine with hydraulic lifters and roller cams — the most refined version of Jabiru's powerplant.

Our 2017 Jabiru J230-D is the only G3X-equipped Jabiru on a rental line in the United States. From $150/hr wet for members at KDTO.
