A4Aviation provides access to Special Light-Sport Aircraft for qualified pilots, students, and instructors through aircraft rental, aircraft checkouts, transition training, proficiency training, time-building rental, and bona fide flight instruction.
Our aircraft are operated under FAA Part 91 and in accordance with each aircraft's airworthiness certificate, operating limitations, manufacturer operating instructions, maintenance and inspection procedures, insurance requirements, and airport rules.
A4Aviation does not provide charter, air taxi, scenic rides, aerial tours, sightseeing flights, passenger transportation, cargo transportation, or point-to-point travel services.We do not sell seats, rides, or transportation.
For rental flights, the approved renter is the pilot in command and has operational control of the flight. A4Aviation provides aircraft access only; we do not provide a pilot or transportation service.
For instructional flights, the purpose of the flight is bona fide flight training, checking, transition training, proficiency training, or pilot qualification. Introductory flights, when offered, are structured as flight lessons and are not scenic rides, sightseeing flights, air tours, charter flights, or transportation services.
A4Aviation operates Special Light-Sport Aircraft in accordance with 14 CFR § 91.327, including applicable requirements for maintenance, annual condition inspections, aircraft operating instructions, passenger disclosure, and 100-hour inspections when an aircraft provided by A4Aviation is used for compensated flight training, checking, or testing.
Pilots operating under sport pilot privileges must comply with 14 CFR § 61.315, including restrictions on carrying passengers or property for compensation or hire, acting as pilot in command for compensation or hire, and operating in furtherance of a business.
Flight instruction is provided only by appropriately qualified instructors operating within the privileges and limitations of their certificates, including applicable Sport Pilot / Flight Instructor rules under 14 CFR § 61.413 where applicable.
A4Aviation does not operate as an air carrier or commercial air transportation provider and does not conduct operations requiring certification under 14 CFR Part 119 or Part 135.
